Good news, Jack Ryan fans! This action-thriller series is set to return to our screens soon! Here are the updates on the release date, trailer, and other information about Jack Ryan Season 3.

After more than three long years since the confirmation of its sequel on February 2019, Jack Ryan Season 3 will be airing on Amazon Prime Video this month.

Starring John Krasinski as the title character, the TV series follows a former Marine Lieutenant turned CIA financial analyst who goes out of his desk job to take on his intelligence, moral turpitude, and talents to the field.

The show is based on the book of the same name by novelist, Tom Clancy, which had consistently topped the New York Times Best Seller list for 30 years. Aside from the series, Jack Ryan was also adapted into multiple movies since 1990.

On September 2022, the official premiere date for the third season of Jack Ryan was finally announced.

All eight episodes of Jack Ryan Season 3 were released on December 21, 2022.

More than 240 countries and territories worldwide are able to view the series exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.

The first promotional trailer for Jack Ryan Season 3 debuted on October 2022 through the official Youtube channel of Prime Video.

In the video, the titular hero is seen on the run from the CIA after getting into a precarious situation involving nuclear weapons. Ryan seems to be the fall guy and tries to regain the trust of the US government.

After being embroiled in a Middle Eastern Terrorist plot in Season 1, and exposing the corruption in the US government in Season 2, Jack Ryan becomes a fugitive on the run in the upcoming sequel.

In the third season of this action-thriller series, Jack Ryan works on a case in Rome when he got insider information about the Sokol Project which aims to resurrect the Soviet Empire.

Trying to confirm this intelligence report, Jack was wrongly accused of treason and used as a scapegoat for a larger conspiracy.

He went on to run away from his own government and escape the hunt by his former colleagues. Along the way, he hopes to reveal the rogue faction before time runs out and a world war happens.

John Krasinski will be reprising his role as the protagonist of the series. Several cast members were also confirmed to be included in the next season of Jack Ryan.

Among the regulars are Wendell Pierce playing James Greer, Michael Kelly as Mike November, Nina Hossas Alena Kovac, and Betty Gabriel who replaced Marianne Jean-Baptiste as Elizabeth Wright.

Other cast members include James Cosmo (Game of Thrones) as Luca, Peter Guinness (Cursed) as Petr, and Alexej Manvelov (Before We Die) as Alexei.

Michael Pena is also rumored to be introduced in the finale of Season 3 as Domingo Chavez, a regular feature in the novels. He is set to lead the spin-off series of the show.

Aside from this, Amazon also revealed in 2019 that Jack Ryan will be renewed for the fourth season.

However, its fourth installment might also be the last. While we have yet to hear an official announcement on this, we can be sure that Season 3 is going to be bigger and much more exciting.
